Picea pungens 'Compacta Pyramidalis'

Picea pungens 'Compacta Pyramidalis' is recommended to backyard gardens and parks. It can be planted separately or in small groups in lawns, flower beds or heathlands. It stands out from the compositions because of its nice and fixed color throughout the year.
The variety was named, described and introduced to trading in 1925 by Stefan Tokarz – he was managing the Nurseries in Podzamcze at that time. The plant has also a newer but improper name ‘Tokarz’.
